My Reviews

When I read and review a book, the following is what will be included in a review on my blog:

• a picture of the cover
• a synopsis taken from Goodreads
• a link to Goodreads so that readers may add it to their shelf
• links to sites where the book can be purchased
• my thoughts on the book and my rating

All my reviews are cross-posted on Goodreads, Barnes & Noble, and Amazon. I make it a priority to keep up with this every couple weeks.

My Rating System

I have changed my review system to reflect the universal standard of 1 to 5 star ratings. My previous system (seen below) will remain up for the sake of my older reviews.

Exceptional: Stay up until 1 AM
~a book that you can't stop reading and stays with you long after you finish~

Very Good: Stay up late
~a book that is great and I really enjoyed it~

Pretty Good: Stay up until your bedtime
~a book that is a worthwhile read and I liked it~

It's Okay: It can wait until tomorrow
~a book that wasn't too bad and enjoyed something about it~

What I Accept

I will accept books from traditional publishers and self-published authors!

Book types: Physical copies and e-books (epub); no audiobooks

Genres:

• New Adult Romance
• Contemporary/Women's Fiction/Chick Lit
• Historical Romance

Please do not send requests for the following: horror, paranormal (ghosts, vampires, etc.), nonfiction (cookbooks, self-help, etc.), religious (or religious undertones), historical fiction (without romance), fantasy, or middle grade.

Note: While there are times I will read outside my genre (it's rare), I'm very picky about those books. Please do not send review requests for anything outside my preferences.

How To Contact Me

I will ONLY accept review requests via EMAIL. In the email, please tell me about your book and how you can provide a copy of it for me. If I'm interested, I will email back. If I'm not interested, you will receive no email. If I am not busy, you'll receive a reply within a few days to a week. If I'm interested, I will respond, I guarantee that!
